Aims of the course To introduce students to the problems and to address issues of global environmental pollution effects. To introduce physical methods for measuring pollution levels and in solving existing environmental problems.
Learning outcomes Studying global effects of pollution. The effect of acid rain. Depletion of the ozone layer of the Earth's atmosphere, or the effect of "ozone holes". Global warming, or the "greenhouse effect". Introduction to the physical methods and procedures used to identify and determine the concentration of certain pollutants in the atmosphere. Review of methods and procedures used to clean polluted waste gases. To introduce basic heat load of the environment. Getting to know the potential sources of clean energy in the future. The role and prospects of the fusion energy. World actions on solving globaln effects of pollution of the Earth's atmosphere.

Recikliranje, model za iskorišćavanje energije i sirovina. Problemi toplotnog opterećenja okoline. Energetski izvori budućnosti.
Examples/ practical classes Practical classes are held in two forms. One is preparation of seminars, by choice and interest of students to 25 given topics, and the second is a practical introduction to devices that are used to detect air pollutants and for measuring their concentrations in laboratory conditions. Visits to institutions that are dealing with these issues professionally.
