Aims of the course To familiarize students with the basics of diagnostic methods used in the study of plasma, especially of high-temperature plasma.
Learning outcomes The adoption of the basic concepts related to spectroscopy, interferometry and other diagnostic methods for determining the composition of the plasma, electron concentration and plasma temperature. Training students to process spectra and other characteristic signals. Understanding the properties of high-temperature plasmas and introduction to current research in this area.
